After four years of working in specialty coffee shops, Pablo has found his way into the green coffee world. Growing up in Ecuador he was surrounded by coffee and the respect for its quality. Immediately after graduating from UC San Diego, Pablo began working in management for specialty coffee bars, most recently Bird Rock Coffee Roasters. The dynamic world of coffee has allowed Pablo to venture into journalism, writing for a local blog, Fresh Cup Magazine and free-lance projects. Helping to build and unify the local coffee community has been a goal for Pablo, driving him to put together industry events, volunteer at competitions and cover the community in written articles. This guy loves bright espresso and takes baths in Gesha cold brew every full-moon to keep his youthful glow.
